Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Tachycardias

Abstract
Surface electrocardiography (ECG) is a useful tool for identifying the sites of origin of ventricular tachycardia (VT) or premature ventricular contractions. Despite limitations such as chest wall deformities and metabolic and drug effects, the analysis of QRS morphological patterns and vectors can discern sites of myocardial activation. Numerous reports about the ECG features of idiopathic left ventricular VT have been published. This review summarized typical ECG characteristics according to the VT sites with anatomical considerations of the left ventricle, including the outflow tract and epicardium.
